Normal correction here in the SP 500, Small Caps, QQQ ETF etc.  Key is determining levels that make sense on a pullback and then having a strategy, whether that's stock swing trading, 3x ETF, Futures etc.

37 is MAX price to pay, 36.56 now but use dips to average in

Markets consolidating gains

We protective stopped at 5030 on Friday for break even

5006 this morning in early pre-market trade, I want to see 4990 hold

If you want to take a shot, you can go long at market because the uptrend line is intact and I had discussed 5007 last week as possible on a pullback…

TNA- Sell Position if you see $41, Double up over 24 hours scale in if you see 36.50

We got long at 5030 on the dip today

Push stop to break even at 5030 from 4995

5050 area currently

We missed my preferred entry yesterday on the dip

Lets move the dip buy entry limit to 5030, currently 5043 area with a 5058 high.

Lets add to that at 5015 if hit

Stop will then be 4995

E mini contracts on each, if you are trading $50,000 total in this service, 10% on each tranche... $5,000 per position tranche is advised... if more aggressive then 20% per tranche.

TNA- Sell if you see $41
YINN Sell 1/2 at 17.60, which is an 8% gain on a full 20% position per rules

Position Updates:  Charts today on TNA and ERX for reference, both in the Green!

ERX - $58.18 10% position avg. Entry 55.75  Target as high as 63-64

Also ES Alerts just made 11% gains in a few days on our latest trade. $5,000 position would have yielded $550 of profit. Subscriptions are only $59 a month.  Maybe 1 or 2 trades a week, its easy to manage, E Mini Contracts are only $5 per 1 point of SP 500 or about $2,500 per contract…

ES at 4996

The low yesterday was 4940 early in the morning over reaction to Inflation data. Now nearing 5000 and we of course took profits at 5025 from 4968 entry already.

No position now, I'm leaning to another long position after things settle. I'm still at 5140 for my projection intermediately from my Jan 25th target update in my services.

I would like to loosely see 4970 hold on any pullback…

Happy Valentines Day!

Crazy action yesterday morning on an excuse to take profits day in my opinion. As I said no need to panic but we did take action nonetheless.  Profits need to be protected with uncertainty, but I do not like to over react either so its a delicate balance. I think the market was obviously extended and the selloff went from 5068 on SP 500 Futures at this weeks high…

I neglected to note the ERX new alert from yesterday in the morning report

With that said, we are working in until 1020 am EST this morning. 

Trade Parameters: 

Max Entry 56.70 adding to possible low 55's over 24 hours until 1020 am EST tomorrow

Target as high as 63-64 but I will update, no stop yet as we often double up

So 56.32 currently use the dip to add

We sold at 5025 to take 57 points of profit yesterday with the protective stop in place. About a 10% profit

Market reacting negatively to early Inflation Report:
  • Stock futures are falling further after this morning's inflation data came in hotter than expected.
  • The report shows consumer prices rose 3.1% in January from a year earlier. That was a cooldown from last month but more than the 2.9% increase economists polled by The Wall Street Journal expected.
  • Core prices—which exclude food and energy items—rose 3.9%. That was also above the 3.7% increase economists…

Energy based ETF ERX is 2x Bull Energy (XLE Underlying)

We have a 13 day consolidation in the XLE ETF and it COULD push higher out of this range, if not we will consider a double up later

ERX currently at 56.33

Still long from 4968 and I've discussed 5140 outlook for a few weeks now as "guidance" if you will

I set a stop at 5010 on Friday morning, let's push that to 5025 and hold otherwise

3x ETF updates:  Action Items from late last week

1/2 Profits taken on SPXL Friday 118 area from 105-108 area for 10-13% we are holding 1/2 still now at 119.50 pre market, target as high as 126

SOXL profits taken with $39 target hit on Friday for 13.7% gains from 34.30

YINN-  We doubled up from 1pm Thursday EST to 1pm Friday EST, average price about 15.35... gives us 15.35 on 1/2…

Futures Trading Service: Now up 11.4% in 3 days!

We are up now 11.4% in the ES Trading service in 3 days with only a 1.1% move in the SP 500.  It's easy to trade E Mini futures.  Each 1 contract is $5 x the SP 500 number or $2,500 roughly.  If you trade 2 contracts, you put $5,000 at risk.  A 1% move is 8% in your favor. Stops are easily…
